- Parents stalk their children and are over protective. I am surprised because they can't seem trust them.
- I am impressed how people can kill themselves due to cyberbulliyng.
- People chase others through internet. I am impressed how internet has created these group of people that are obssesed with other people and are trying constantly to look at their stuff.

Swiss School
Sustainability Management School (Video 1)
This video is about the SUMAS or the Sustainability Management School. The video talks about what the school is about, and what it offers to the students. It is located between Geneva and Lausanne at the shores of Lake Geneva. This school offers the bachelors and masters degree in business administration in sustainability management. It is the only school in Europe that offers this. They look for students who have excellence, great quality of content, and expertise in delivery. The students who are in this school will learn where does the biggest impact occur in sustainability and they will be guided during the process of making sustainability come to life in a business environment.
Sustainable consumption and production (Video 2)
This video starts of by talking about the different aspects of human society that are damaging the Earth. For example: transportation, buildings, CO2 emissions, waste, etc., are destroying the planet and cause Global Warming, and they produce 80% of global impact. The video mentions how we will need twice the Earth's surface to absorb the waste by 2050 if we keep the same conditions of production and consumption. Next it talks about the European Union making projects to make the products sold to costumers better and more ecological. Markets and stores are encouraging consumers to buy more green or ecological products.
An Inconvenient Truth (Video 3)
This is a trailer of a film or better called documentary. The documentary is about how global warming is destroying Earth at a very rapid rate. They talk about how 2005 was the hottest year in the history of Earth, how snows in mountains are disappearing, how storms are bigger and more aggressive, etc. They mention how in a couple of years the poles and mountain snow will disappear causing major disruptions around the globe.
Video 4
This video is about the men who flew the airplane powered by sun came to a university graduation ceremony to give a speech. I couldn't see the rest of the video due to the fact that I ran out of time.
Video 5
This video is about the solar impulse plane project. It shows how this project was financed by companies that were not from the aviation. This airplane was able to fly with solar energy and not with fuel across America. This plane was launched in the state of Arizona.
Assignment.
After looking at all the websites offered, I chose Alpina because my father works with that brand and I am interested to know how sustainability works in this company. They have developed a plan of sustainability were they will try to be in harmony with the communities and use natural resources around them. They want to achieve sustainability in the environmental, economic, and social aspects. To do so, Alipna has identified 7 obstacles they have to overcome. This are the seven obstacles: dialogue, economic value, Alpinistas (workers), the environment, nutrition, sustainable business, and social value.
-Dialogue (Its says they want to promote trustfull relationships with their groups of interest.)
-Economic Value (Alpina wants to economically grow for their shareholders and investors.)
-Alpinistas (They want to create a good place to work.)
-Environment (They want to garanty the proper and eficient use, as well as the preservation of the natural resources which are necessary for them to operate.)
-Nutrition (Alpina wants to stimulate a healthy diet by offering products that are nutritinous and good quality to a large number of costumers.)
-Sustainable Business (Strengthen the sustainable businesses of their strategic allies.)
- Social Value (They want to generate social value with the communities in their area of influence.)
Alpina wants to get involve their groups of interest which are many. They want clients, the state, Alpinistas, communities, consumers, media, investors, shareholders, etc., to be involved so their sustainability plans works in an efficient way. This is what they say: "...should be built upon a strong base of permanent dialogue, transparent and profound with our groups of interest."

GAFE
Google sites is a tool made by Google to create websites for multiple purposes. It can either be for class purposes, for working purposes, etc. It is a great way to organize information and present it to a big audience.
1. How do you create a Google Site:
The first step is either to log in with a gmail account or sing up using another email you have. Once you are done with that you will choose a template or the page lay out in other words that fits your project's purposes or needs. This will include already some pictures and pages within the site that you can change or delete. The third step is to type in a name for your website. Google will automatically create a link to you site. The fourth step is to to choose the theme of the website which is the colors and the background of the site. The fifth step is to type in a word provided by Google to actually know if its an actual person that its creating the site.
In order to create a page within your site you click on the icon of a paper with a plus sign. In order for you to make your new page appear on the side bar you click in more actions and then in page settings. Once you are in page settings you click on the little box beside the sentence that says "Show this page on the sidebar" which will enable that page to show on the sidebar and then you click on done and that page will appear there.
In order to edit or customize you click on edit page in order to change the colors and the background. There is multiple ways to do this. You can click on edit sidebar, or click on more actions and click on edit page or page settings.
Gadgets are the things you can add to the page like for example the joke of the day, the picture of the day, etc. You go click on the page settings and you go down to add gadgets. You can place them wherever you want in you site.
I believe that teachers in school can use Google Sites to create a class website where every single assignment announcement, etc the teacher gives out in class. It is a very organized and simple way to find out about things you missed during class when you are absent, what assignment are due and when, etc. A student in the CNG community can use this amazing Google feature to create a blog for a class, a portfolio, a place to store assignments so they don't get lost, etc.

Google day # 2
1. What are my top colleges and why?
2. What actors/actresses have won more than two Oscars?
1. This is the list of my top options:
- Juilliard School
- UCLA
- Yale School of Drama
- Tisch School of Arts
This are my top four out of the many colleges I researched last time. This is mainly due to the excellent dramatic school they have, which have been in the top ten list for many consecutive years. Another reason as to why these options is due to the prestige they have. The last reason is that some of these colleges offer the alumni contacts, promotion, and support in the industry they want to work in.
2. link to first page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_actors_with_two_or_more_Academy_Awards_in_acting_categories
According to Wikipedia this are some of the actors/actresses that have won more than once:

Viruses
The only thing I know about viruses is that they can damage your computer and they usually appear as pop-up messages in websites. This messages usually say you have won an iPad etc. They can also appear as spam messages in your email.
- How can you remove a virus from your computer?
- How can you prevent viruses?
- What is the most dangerous virus any person can download?
Links:
- http://antivirus-software.topchoicereviews.com/11-ways-prevent-computer-viruses_258.html
- http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/how-do-i-remove-a-computer-virus
- The most dangerous virus was identified in 2002 which is called Beast Trojan Horse.
- This virus will not infect your computer automatically, until you actually execute the virus.
- It can steal your secret or personal information.
- Other viruses are the SQL Slammer, MyDoom, Bandook Rat, and Blackworm.
This are the ways you can prevent viruses:
- Install a safe anti-virus.
- Install anti-spyware.
- Avoid suspicious websites.
- Install a firewall.
In order to remove a virus manually you first have to run the anti-virus program to look for it. When you find it, go to your email and look at the message that had the virus, then go to the antivirus vendor website find the virus and the information on how to remove it.
This topic relates to my daily life because I am an active user of the internet and if I do not take care of myself and my information I can be the next victim of one of these viruses that can damage my computer and steal my secret or personal information.
How can you identify a virus on the internet?

Design Project Day 3
CHOOSE Phase:
1. Our game will follow every single requirements if we decorate it well and have attractive prizes.
2. We want to keep the prizes our model. We are sure this is going to catch everyone's attention. We are going to keep the set of instructions in order for the game to be as clear as possible.
3. Our hook will have a more simple design. Instead of being a brabber it wil be a simple hook (like a fishing hook) and the prizes will have a string in order to win.
IMPLEMENT Phase:
1. To build our model: M= Maria, N= Nicolas
-Create a cardboard box with a clear side in order to see the prizes. M/N
-Cut the top part as a pathway for the hook. M
-Create a hook that is strong and stable. N
-Make a hole in the box where the prizes can exit. N
-Put a string on every prize. M
-Paint the box to make it attractive. M
-Write down the instructions and paste them in the box. N
2. Materials:
-Box
-Tape
-Glue gun
-Box cutter
- Prizes: Candy and Small toys
-Clear contact paper

Project To Do Day 2
PROTOTYPE
1. Maria's prototype strengths and weaknesses:
1. Maria's prototype strengths and weaknesses:
- It is not colored nor attractive. (weakness)
- The path for the grabber isn't efficient. (weakness)
- It has a set of instructions. (strength)
- It can stand by its own (stability). (strength)
Nicolas' prototype strengths and weaknesses:
- It can't stand on its own. (weakness)
- There is two different boxes with different prizes. They aren't mixed. (weakness)
- Structure is clear. (strength)
- It has arrows that help the player through the game. (strength)
-We believe Nicolas' prototype is better because it is more clear and more efficient.
-We will include decorations, color, and a base to maintain stability in the prototype.
-We will remove one game and combine the prizes.
2. Prototype:
3. Feedback:
Positive:
- Every elementary kid likes the game and the prizes.
- The game is attractive.
- Easy to win.
Suggestions:
- Create a hook to paste against the prizes.
- Create a strong grabber or hook in order for the kid to win all the time.

Design Project Day 1
My partner is Maria Pombo.
DEFINE PHASE:
1. We will make a game for the elementary school kids. (BOYS AND GIRLS)
2. It will be a medium difficulty game.
3. The game can be successful or fun if:
1. These are the links of the videos:
Link one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYRZcWa0zJI&playnext=1&list=PL92539D6D66668E09&feature=results_main

Step 2 and 3. For the first video I thought it was fun to shoot the ball into the hole and score. I also thought it was fun due to its simplicity. It think it could be a little more difficult and if you win you could win a prize.
For the second video I liked the subject or theme the girl chose which was the grabber game. This is a very popular game in an arcade. Some things she could improve are the hook due to the fact that it was too simple and the actual hook had one arm which will make the game too difficult.
Finally for the third video I thought it was the best of all because it had three levels which increased in difficutly. They were challenging but you had a posibilty of winning. I also liked that they were popular games in ana arcade as well. For example the last two stages were getting the ball into a hole with different scores. Some things he can improve are the visual style, and the three stages were pretty much the same.
IDEATION PHASE:
1. We are going to create a grabber or claw game. Prizes will be determined according to what elementary kids like.
2. These are the things it would make it fun:

- How will the hook return to the beginning.
- The prize will get stuck.
