- People about who they really are online. This is shocking because this shows that people are not comfortable with who they are.
- Some people regret what they have done online. This is shocking because this means there has been improvement.
- I am impressesed at the fast rate that people meet strangers onine that have many similarities between them. (Ex: the kid that wanted to comit suicide and his friend.)

Swiss School
Sustainability Management School (Video 1)
This video is about the SUMAS or the Sustainability Management School. The video talks about what the school is about, and what it offers to the students. It is located between Geneva and Lausanne at the shores of Lake Geneva. This school offers the bachelors and masters degree in business administration in sustainability management. It is the only school in Europe that offers this. They look for students who have excellence, great quality of content, and expertise in delivery. The students who are in this school will learn where does the biggest impact occur in sustainability and they will be guided during the process of making sustainability come to life in a business environment.
Sustainable consumption and production (Video 2)
This video starts of by talking about the different aspects of human society that are damaging the Earth. For example: transportation, buildings, CO2 emissions, waste, etc., are destroying the planet and cause Global Warming, and they produce 80% of global impact. The video mentions how we will need twice the Earth's surface to absorb the waste by 2050 if we keep the same conditions of production and consumption. Next it talks about the European Union making projects to make the products sold to costumers better and more ecological. Markets and stores are encouraging consumers to buy more green or ecological products.
An Inconvenient Truth (Video 3)
This is a trailer of a film or better called documentary. The documentary is about how global warming is destroying Earth at a very rapid rate. They talk about how 2005 was the hottest year in the history of Earth, how snows in mountains are disappearing, how storms are bigger and more aggressive, etc. They mention how in a couple of years the poles and mountain snow will disappear causing major disruptions around the globe.
Video 4
This video is about the men who flew the airplane powered by sun came to a university graduation ceremony to give a speech. I couldn't see the rest of the video due to the fact that I ran out of time.
Video 5
This video is about the solar impulse plane project. It shows how this project was financed by companies that were not from the aviation. This airplane was able to fly with solar energy and not with fuel across America. This plane was launched in the state of Arizona.
Assignment.
After looking at all the websites offered, I chose Alpina because my father works with that brand and I am interested to know how sustainability works in this company. They have developed a plan of sustainability were they will try to be in harmony with the communities and use natural resources around them. They want to achieve sustainability in the environmental, economic, and social aspects. To do so, Alipna has identified 7 obstacles they have to overcome. This are the seven obstacles: dialogue, economic value, Alpinistas (workers), the environment, nutrition, sustainable business, and social value.
-Dialogue (Its says they want to promote trustfull relationships with their groups of interest.)
-Economic Value (Alpina wants to economically grow for their shareholders and investors.)
-Alpinistas (They want to create a good place to work.)
-Environment (They want to garanty the proper and eficient use, as well as the preservation of the natural resources which are necessary for them to operate.)
-Nutrition (Alpina wants to stimulate a healthy diet by offering products that are nutritinous and good quality to a large number of costumers.)
-Sustainable Business (Strengthen the sustainable businesses of their strategic allies.)
- Social Value (They want to generate social value with the communities in their area of influence.)
Alpina wants to get involve their groups of interest which are many. They want clients, the state, Alpinistas, communities, consumers, media, investors, shareholders, etc., to be involved so their sustainability plans works in an efficient way. This is what they say: "...should be built upon a strong base of permanent dialogue, transparent and profound with our groups of interest."

GAFE
Google sites is a tool made by Google to create websites for multiple purposes. It can either be for class purposes, for working purposes, etc. It is a great way to organize information and present it to a big audience.
1. How do you create a Google Site:
The first step is either to log in with a gmail account or sing up using another email you have. Once you are done with that you will choose a template or the page lay out in other words that fits your project's purposes or needs. This will include already some pictures and pages within the site that you can change or delete. The third step is to type in a name for your website. Google will automatically create a link to you site. The fourth step is to to choose the theme of the website which is the colors and the background of the site. The fifth step is to type in a word provided by Google to actually know if its an actual person that its creating the site.
In order to create a page within your site you click on the icon of a paper with a plus sign. In order for you to make your new page appear on the side bar you click in more actions and then in page settings. Once you are in page settings you click on the little box beside the sentence that says "Show this page on the sidebar" which will enable that page to show on the sidebar and then you click on done and that page will appear there.
In order to edit or customize you click on edit page in order to change the colors and the background. There is multiple ways to do this. You can click on edit sidebar, or click on more actions and click on edit page or page settings.
Gadgets are the things you can add to the page like for example the joke of the day, the picture of the day, etc. You go click on the page settings and you go down to add gadgets. You can place them wherever you want in you site.
I believe that teachers in school can use Google Sites to create a class website where every single assignment announcement, etc the teacher gives out in class. It is a very organized and simple way to find out about things you missed during class when you are absent, what assignment are due and when, etc. A student in the CNG community can use this amazing Google feature to create a blog for a class, a portfolio, a place to store assignments so they don't get lost, etc.
